Ube Macapuno Rolls

The elders (in our clan) decided to have a Christmas party last December 23, but as most of us were cramming to finish our Christmas shopping and tasks, the party was not exactly planned well but the kids and kids at heart still had a lot of fun. I decided to bring Ube-Macapuno Rolls as I don't know what to share, I wasn't able to cook anything though the aunts have been bugging me to cook some Carbonara for them, we were at the mall on that date, sharing bodily sweats with other shoppers as we buy stuff for our son and our godchildren and loved ones, and we headed straight to my uncle's house (party location) for the event, and though we tried our best to come, we were three hours late *grins*.

Our Ube-Macapuno wasn't the only Goldilocks product present in the buffet table, there was a Double Dutch, Brazo de Mercedes and Chocolate Rolls, too. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to take a pic, it would have been nice to have a Goldilocks roll parade here *lol*.

Ube Macapuno Rolls
(Goldilocks.com.ph - Ube flavored sponge cake filled with vanilla butter icing. The whole cake is iced with Ube butter icing . The surface is decorated with rich macapuno strings topped with rosettes and violet chocolate toppers. The whole cake is sprinkled with colored vermicelli.)

It tasted okay, not to mention that ube is my favorite cake variant *grins*, but between you and me, I like the Ube Macapuno of Red Ribbon better.

    i luuuurve Red Ribbon's ube cake!! i haven't tried Goldilocks.. I usually buy just their mocha or choco roll.
