Puto (Rice Cake)

No detailed information about the photos, it was given to us by my hubby's grandma, I don't know where she bought it or how much, all I know is, it was super yummy! It's not your usual puto, this one was really infused (not just topped) with grated cheese and salted egg, I am a puto-cochinta (rice cakes of different variety) fanatic, and this one passed my choosy taste buds with flying color.

one of my fave, too ... used to love the one that my MIL ordered from the province. too bad the cook died and didn't seem to have passed on her recipe to her kids ...
