Purefoods Jamon de Bola

I'm not really sure if it's a Fiesta ham or a jamon de bola, as the packaging and the paper bag that comes along with the ham itself states different names, I'm no ham expert so you be the judge, whatever you want to call it is fine by me *lol*.

This piece of meat (pun intended, hahaha) was given by my mom's business associate which she happily passed on to us, she has lots of acquaintances who gives away stuff during holidays and her throwing some of her blessings our way is one of the many perks of being her daughter *grins*.



No idea how much it cost, it's on 550-600php mark last year, I don't know this year. It still taste the same though, it's still yummy.

Purefoods TJ Hotdogs

One of our all-time favorite Noche Buena and Media Noche treat, it's hotdog, need I say more? As in you can never go wrong with hotdogs, kids and kids-at-heart love it. I don't know about other kids but mine only eat Purefoods hotdogs, may it be the party-size or the extra big ones. Even at children's parties, I always end up eating his share when it's not TJ. Choosy pa eh noh?


The photo above was taken last New Year's Eve, we decided to grill the hotdogs together with the pork BBQ, the ones with slanted cuts were also dip in the barbecue marinade while the one with cross marks were grilled as is, the way my son like it.

Purefoods Fiesta Ham

One of the food served in our Noche Buena, I was eye-ing the cured ham shanks but it costs more than 2k php, I can serve a full-course meal on that budget *grins*. We celebrated our Christmas quite simply, life ain't that grand last 2009 anyway. Aside from the Fiesta Ham, we also had Carbonara (I posted the recipe in my recipe blog), Fettuccine Alfredo, Sotanghon with chicken head and feet, Lechon Kawali, Pininyahan Manok, Jumbo Hotdogs for my son, Buco Pandan, Gelatin, Halayang Ube, Leche Flan, Macapuno, some Suman and two loaves of Gardenia wheat bread. We, also, cooked some white rice but nobody paid notice, everyone was focused on stuffing themselves with the viands, pasta and desserts *grins*.

Recipes of the above mentioned dishes will soon be posted in One Dish at a Time, I only got to post two but more will follow soon.
