My amphetamine, hahaha, as in, this is my perk me up drink, maybe it's the sugar but I do get hype up everytime I drink a glass or two. So, next time you see me drinking a cup, glass or mug of Nesquik, be alert coz the crazy me will act up soon *lol*.

And because my father-in-law thinks my son loves this drink, he keeps on sending us at least 2 jars everytime he has the chance, so I have a steady supply of my addiction, lucky me, teehee.

Nestle Drumstick with Kitkat

I am in an ice cream-themed-post-roll *lol*, but as usual, I am a day late in posting my Ruby Tuesday entry and because you're all so used to me being late, it doesn't bother you anymore, am I right *grins*?

Photo above was purchased from a Nestle ice cream cart and I guess, this is one of their newest offerings as it was the first time I saw it, which is very much welcome, if I may say. It is priced at 30 pesos a piece and it really was a delight to eat.


Have you heard of a diet that consists mainly of ice cream? Is there such a thing? Hmm... if there's none, I think I'm on the brink of inventing one *lol*.

I remember when I was still a little girl wandering around our street, every time I heard the sound of the incoming ice cream cart, I will rush home asking for money but often than not, I get nothing. My nanay is the very definition of frugal (as in), that's why having Twin Popsies (sometimes only half of the twin) or Drumstick at that time was a special (momentous *grins*) event for me. So now, every time the mobile Nestle cart drive by our place, which is everyday, and my son wanted something, I immediately obliged, unless he's sick or on a diet. Syempre pagbili para sa anak kasama na ang para sa ina, binabawi ko ang lahat ng araw noong bata pa ko na di ako pinakain ng nanay ko ng ice cream at ice drop *lol*.

I love their new offering, the Pinipig Mango Condensada, I'll feature it here again one of these days *wink*.

Sorbetes (Ice Cream)

Sorbetes (Ube) - P100.00

I had been craving for this brand of ice cream ever since the TV commercial came up (the one with Pokwang), aside from being new in the market, the commercial kinda made me curious and thrilled (symptoms of a TV addict *grins*). Well, I got my wish granted a few weeks ago... verdict - too sweet for my taste, actually, too sweet for my family's taste. It lasted for more than a week in the fridge, so it is telling something.

Tip: Serve it with bread. Ipalaman sa monay or kahit anong tinapay na mayroon sa bahay ninyo para di nakakaumay.

Note: I wasn't able to take a pic of the ice cream itself, as it was kinda melting when it reached home so I had to rush it to the fridge, sorry.
