Sorbetes (Ice Cream)

food friday

Sorbetes (Ube) - P100.00

I had been craving for this brand of ice cream ever since the TV commercial came up (the one with Pokwang), aside from being new in the market, the commercial kinda made me curious and thrilled (symptoms of a TV addict *grins*). Well, I got my wish granted a few weeks ago... verdict - too sweet for my taste, actually, too sweet for my family's taste. It lasted for more than a week in the fridge, so it is telling something.

Tip: Serve it with bread. Ipalaman sa monay or kahit anong tinapay na mayroon sa bahay ninyo para di nakakaumay.

Note:
I wasn't able to take a pic of the ice cream itself, as it was kinda melting when it reached home so I had to rush it to the fridge, sorry.

I am not an ice cream lover and it really takes an interesting, yummy, not-so-sweet ice cream to make me grab a scoop :-)

i'm an ice cream lover but i'm into supreme flavors, we tried sorbetes but we chose the cheese flavor, it's good! my kids love it!

I love ube ice cream. Is that P100 price for a half gallon? Mura yata.

great choice of ice cream and not forget how affordable it is to enjoy a cold and creamy goodness.

i love ice cream except for ube! nothing against ube, i just feel weird eating purple food. isama mo na rin ang halaya, sapin-sapin (just the purple), ube cake, etc. i usually get mango, chocolate or vanilla flavor.

I rarely try ube flavor. It's fine but not really something I crave. I more into chocolate and coffee and mocha. :)

About Me

I am a wife to the sweetest person on Earth and a mother to the cutest baby boy in the planet. I love reading literary books but I have an addiction in contemporary/renaissance romance novels. I am a video game aficionado in the truest sense of the word. I love to travel the world, if and only given the opportunity. I don't know how to cook (but I'm slowly learning) so there's a fascination with take-outs and dine-ins. I could go on and on but I guess you had enough *lol*.
