boche, valencia, turon in a bilao (winnowing basket)
turon (mongo) for hubby, valencia (banana) for me, and boche just in case we have the urge to eat more - all cost P5.00 a piece.One of my favorite street peddler in our block is the manang (woman) who sells boche, valencia and turon. She roam around with a winnowing basket full of these treats shouting boche... valencia... in her loudest and most alluring tone. One can be sure to hear and see her an hour or so after lunch as she walk around and knock on gates and doors saying, "suki, meryenda na" (suki is a customer of long standing while meryenda is a snack). I just love it!

mahilig din ako sa turon pero may langka gusto ko..
ako din favorite ko ang turon na may langka pero mas kilala sya valencia dito sa lugar namin peachy -malabon-navotas. na-try mo na ba ang turon ng mommy's? try nyo masarap.
@u8mypinkcookies - boche is just like turon but instead of using a lumpia wrapper, a gelatinous material just like that of kakanin is use. sana naintindihan mo explanation ko *crossing fingers*.
yung turon ng Mommy's nakikita ko sa stall nila in Landmark, mukha ngang masarap!
gusto ko rin ng may langka & dapat daming sugar! :D

ang sarap! basta wag lang makunat a.. at ang lumpia...dapat hindi makapal ang balot. pamiryienda ka na nga. Ang hirap sayo ginutom mo na naman ako. hehe
