Red Ribbon's Dulce de leche

>> Sunday, January 24, 2010

One of those stock photos that I have but, due to laziness and other unavoidable (or avoidable) circumstances, wasn't able to post, the reason behind this one - it got stuck under a warehouse-full of photos *grins*. This was my cake when I celebrated my -th birthday, no need to tell the real numbers *lol*. We (hubby, son and I) ate this with some lasagna and pizza, if I remember correctly, I don't do parties and grand celebrations, the simpler the better.

As this was taken a million years ago, you don't expect me to remember the price, right? But what I can't forget is how yummy this cake tasted - it really was a delight.

From Red Ribbon's website: Heavenly layers of white chiffon cake with custard cream filling, enrobed in luscious sweetened milk and caramel icing. Wrapped in fine toasted chiffon crumbs and laden with a frosted caramel crystal layer. Gloriously crowned with white cream rosettes and chocolate spirals. Prices are - P520.00 for a regular-sized one and P315.00 for the junior size.

About Me

I am a wife to the sweetest person on Earth and a mother to the cutest baby boy in the planet. I love reading literary books but I have an addiction in contemporary/renaissance romance novels. I am a video game aficionado in the truest sense of the word. I love to travel the world, if and only given the opportunity. I don't know how to cook (but I'm slowly learning) so there's a fascination with take-outs and dine-ins. I could go on and on but I guess you had enough *lol*.
