To mark my return in the blogging world (for good, I hope), I am gonna post the award that Lisa of A Simple Life had given me a few months back (which I gratefully acknowledged but I never had the chance to post and pass at that time till now). I would like to thank her for passing it on to me and I wanna say sorry for the delay in my picking it up.

I don't know how should I classify binatog, is it a traditional Pinoy food or a Pinoy street food? What do you think? Traditional or not, eating binatog is a mark of Filipino kids and kids-at-heart - it is delicious, healthy, filling and oh so inexpensive.
Binatog - white corn bits mixed with grated coconut and your choice of salt or sugar.
