KFC

Taken in one of our mall trips, I think this was our brunch. Father and son had the original fried chicken while I had the hot and crispy one-piece chicken meal, an extra rice for each of us just in case we want more; we also tried the new flavor of fun shots, there's two new flavors - the smoky BBQ and sweet chili, we chose the last one; and a bucket of crispy fries. I also ordered a Cookies and Cream Krushers but it was brought on the table a little late that's why it's not included in the photo op *grins*.





As usual, it was a good meal, I don't think you can ever go wrong with KFC, with the exception of their shrimp surfer *grimace*, good thing they took it out of the menu.

KFC Twister and More

Note: I am suppose to come back to Food Friday and Food Trip Friday with a bang, as in, a nice post and a marching band in tow plus those popping party poppers to create some noise and cast colorful confetti on my way, but life doesn't really happen as we plan it, I lost the photo that is supposed to be my entry and because of that, here I am posting a different entry a day late. I hope Willa and Maiylah understands...

Hubby went home one day (during my online-incapacitated days) with a take-home from KFC, as you may know or not *grins*, Malabon City can now boasts of an KFC branch. The chicken were good, as expected, the gravy was superb, a childhood favorite, and the Twister, a new offering, passed the test.

A week ago, my nanay and tatay went to Tayuman (I think) to buy another Sto. Nino piece for the altar cause the smallest one fell off and broke to pieces, they fetched my son and to have my approval, I asked them to bring me some chicken burger from KFC *grins*. And so they did.

Shrimp Surfers

*** This is a very late post, the photos were taken months ago, it was during the introduction of the shrimp meal in the KFC menu, a food lover and a curious being like me can't pass up the chance to be one of the first who sample it, right? Verdict: the taste was okay (don't expect fresh and juicy shrimp and you'll not be disappointed) but the serving size was too small, as in the posters were really misleading. Anyhow, we have the delectable fried chickens to contend ourselves with, so, the KFC experience was still a blast (tummy-wise, I mean).

*** Nakalimutan ko na kung magkano nagastos namin, medyo matanda na kasi lola nyo, hahaha.
