Pinoy Kakanin Fever
>> Sunday, August 24, 2008
(I ask my mom to buy me every single kakanin that she saw in the market yesterday, and so she did. I love my Nanay!)
Pudding (tinapay) - P20.00
A little explanation:
Kakanin are commonly known as rice cakes, here in the Philippines kakanin are a-plenty and it comes in different forms, tastes and bases. Aside from the kakanin that I have featured here, more varieties can be found depending on the province or town that you will visit, in this country, ones ethnicity define the foods that they eat and specializes at.
I'm supposed to put a little description of each kakanin in the pictures but I'm kinda lazy, and this post is long enough to bore you *grins*. If you have questions, kindly leave a comment and I'll try to answer you in due time *wink*.
